Excuses, Excuses, Excuses...

Yep basically being 136 days away from graduation and taking Spring/Summer classes means a busy life. And when I say Spring/Summer classes, really if I fail this class I don't get to graduate in December so lets just say its been my life for the last couple of months...

This is what I have been doing the last couple of weeks.

Work, school, come home sleep, work on project, throw frisbee/balls for Hank while doing whatever I am doing, maybe eat food, sleep some more and repeat.

Seriously guys it took over a month for me to mow my back yard that's how busy I was with everything else, plus my neighbors frown upon me mowing my lawn at my convenience even though when they are mowing theirs I'm trying to sleep. UGH I HATE WORKING SWING SHIFTS!!!

However, this week I finally decided enough was enough and I was going to finish mudding the walls in the living room (got one corner left and the ceiling to do), sand the dining room (half done), remove the old hooks up for the washer and dryer (haven't started), mud the laundry room (first coat on), and paint the hallway (bought the paint).

It's getting there, Hank doesn't make it any easier on me, since he thinks that throwing his whatever he decides to bring me is way more important than what I am doing but I love him so I play with him and work at the same time which means projects take FOREVER!

I also went to the Faster Horses Festival, which was basically a Woodstock for Country music and OMG was it fun. I spent basically 4 days drunk and got to listen to some great music and artist that I love. Oh and there was a huge water slide...

I worked hard on the 4th of July...I may or may not have gone up on the roof to watch the fireworks.

Because Sometimes Life Sucks!

Unfortunately, Dennis was one of the many that lost their jobs on Wednesday of last week and it totally sucks. I actually miss him at work, I work third shift and he worked first shift, our desks were 15 feet apart and I got to see him for an hour at work. The worse part is, they never called him to tell him not to come in and he drove into work (wasted 3 gallons of gas that's like $12) and couldn't get through the gate...great way to find out that you no longer have your job. But I guess it could be worse, we both could of lost our jobs.

Anyways, house stuff is going to be slowed for a while...maybe, I asked him to do a couple times around the house but lets be honest deer hunting is way more important then taking down the fake brick crap so we can put in a fireplace. Ironically, to make myself feel better because I am back to being a poor college student, I painted a room and will hopefully have time to go get a new ceiling fan up this weekend. We did a couple of other odd and end jobs around the house but nothing to huge expensive.

Hopefully, I will have a deer hanging in my garage by Saturday night and I hope it's the one I kill. Going deer hunting this weekend, YES I ACTUALLY TOOK A WEEKEND OFF!

Anyways, hope everyone is well and stay tuned I am really hoping I can talk him into doing lots of stuff around the house, crap if I could get him to do the dishes it would be a small victory.

Is it December 15th yet?

Is it December 15th yet?

Life has been so crazy and I don't see an end in sight for the craziness ending. Plus I kind of miss sleep; it might be to the point I may need to look up the definition just to remember what sleep is.

Work is doing big layoffs right now (180 employees by the end of this week), so everyone pray that Big-D and I both have our jobs on Monday of next week. Let's just say this has add unneeded stress to my life.

Not like I already work 45 to 50 hours a week, have like 17 credits this semester, one HUGE design project, senior seminar presentation to prepare, a house that needs some fixing, a wedding to plan, a fiancee to feed and a puppy to play with....oh and I don't have internet currently at home.

I have a lot of things I plan on blogging about here is the list:

• Living Room Ceiling (The insulation is officially installed and I am a happy camper since it was 37° in the house this morning and now can turn my furnace on).
• Guest Bedroom Paint (if I get that done this weekend)

• Some pictures of the Hanky Panky
• A Graduate in the House (don't get excited it's not me)
• Other odds and ends

Hopefully we will have our internet back sometime towards the end of this week so I can get back to blogging without having to try and do it quickly at work or school.
